History:
Stefan lived the life of the average music geek up until his powers manifested. He was picked on during school, girls thought he was cute but his shy nature kept most of them at bay. He had learned to deal with the mundane aspects of life, and was well on his way to figuring out a plan to survive his freshman year of high school. That all changed on one fateful weekend.
During this weekend while his parents were away on a business trip, Fen developed the symptoms of the flu. He did his best to scour the house for medicine that would help alleviate his symptoms, but nothing did. By the end of Saturday, he had called his parents on their trip and told them that he was feeling really badly. They told him they would be home the next day, as they couldn't get a flight back that night. Later on that evening, Fen's power manifested completely. His sight was changed into darksight, and a shadow enclosed him completely. He found that closing his eyes didn't stop him from seeing all around him, and a racking headache filled his head as he adjusted with the new vision. He couldn't read anything two dimensional, it was like someone coated everything within a few feet with microscopic layer of gray paint. Everything farther away than that was nothing but a haze. After sleepless hours the morning arrived and Fen got his first taste of sunlight. It was like a burst of energy right into his system. When his parents arrived home, they completely flipped out when the voice of their son emerged from the black shade moving around the house. His dad had something of a nervous breakdown and began to have a violent episode, smashing everything in the living room. This display sent Fen scurrying to his room and fear. His mother dialed 911 and an ambulance was dispatched to the house. But before it got there, Fen had grabbed a bag and his most valuable possessions and fled in a panic. Fen hit the streets of New York and has been trying to find someone to help him in controlling his power.
He met Rwylann and was brought into contact with members of the Pack through very informal introductions. She eventually convinced him to attend the Massachusetts Academy with her in order to continue his schooling and to learn more about his powers in a better environment.
