History:

Pietro has no idea who his real parents are. He believes Django and Marya Maximoff are his real parents. Pietro and Wanda grew up in France. Pietro was a incredibly hyperactive child, a huge contrast to his mellow and adaptive sister. Pietro, with his funny flash of silvery hair, made his foster parents' hair to begin to go gray, far more than Wanda did. Pietro was active, though he showed only mental signs of his mutancy: thusly, it didn't show, except that he appeared to be bright, a fast learner, and constantly on the move. Pietro nor Wanda had any idea that they were adopted, though Pietro became aware that his silvery hair wasn't normal. Still, it was not as if his hair was bright blue, and it was accepted as a pale-blonde/white when his parents applied bleach to it, to help him fit in. The Maximoffs were a traveling couple, but had some severe money problems. Despite that, the children were everything to them, all they had left, and were put into a good school in part of France.

Pietro, when he began to move into puberty, began to notice that he could move swifter than other people, without trying. He could beat any of the other kids in a footrace since he could remember, but this was different, this raised eyebrows a little bit. They didn't think he was a freak, but Pietro learned quickly to not do those fast movements where people could see him. Wanda knew, though, for she had noticed she could cause various phenomena to happen under certain circumstances, with a gesture of hand. The twins comforted each other, and decided that they had gifts, special talents.

Eventually the pair were sent off to school, when they entered puberty. Pietro began to see a girl named Sonya, one of Wanda's friends, but it didn't last. Pietro developed a little ego, which Wanda quickly squished flat, and forbid many of her friends to see him, sick of them trying to get her to fix them up with him. But Pietro was devoted to his sister regardless of any of the relationship bits and pieces, and visited her almost nightly, when he was able to sneak in to her girls' school.

And the dam broke. The twins were fifteen. Pietro's mother suddenly showed up at his school in the middle of the night, and fetched him, and brokenly explained that something had happened to Wanda, some kind of fire had happened and she'd been arrested for it, and their father, who then had to go to the police to try to help her, was caught and would be sentenced with reams of crimes. The people of the city were up in arms against the thief they'd been looking for, Pietro's father, and Marya feared for Pietro, how he would be effected. Pietro, though, fled from his mother, scared for his sister, and searched for her at the police locale near her school. Once his identity was established, he was let through, and he comforted his sister. However, strict punishment was being arranged for their father, and Wanda was suspected to be mixed up in it with her apparent arson.

They were forced to flee, and Pietro was separated from them. To make a long story shorter, Pietro ended up in the united states, unable to find his family. Pietro, destroyed by the loss of his family and his new placement into foster care at age 16, had terrible grades, and was held back, pushed through his terrible abilities back into a fresh start in a sophomore grade. His foster parents, Jerome and Lucy Church, were nice enough people, but worn out, and tended to just house wayward youths.

He had good enough grades to head to college, though he'd have to work heavily to afford it. He was able to earn scholarships, but also had to get a job. The school he wanted to attend was NYU, undeclared, though he was really after a law degree, someday. NYU had offered the scholarships, he was very lucky to that extent, so that's where he went, moving into an apartment with several other freshmen. He worked two jobs, one as a typist, the other, delivering packages on a bike. Pietro could finish his route faster than anyone, but he was careful not to showcase his power at all, he remembered well what had happened to Wanda when she used hers, and kept his ability secret, though when he was alone, he would do everything as fast as his power would let him.

We catch up with Pietro as he feels school slipping out of his grasp, without enough money to be in school currently, and busting his abilities to try to get enough money without stealing, without being like his father who had been forced to steal... but the ideas keep coming, how fast he could get in and out of a bank, or... he doesn't know. Too much free time fosters thoughts like those.
