History:
Charlotte Beck grew up in Wisconsin and seemed to be leading an average life. She was skilled at dance and was considering making a career at it. At one point, while she was practicing for a performance in high school, she developed a migrane and leaned against a wall. It was at that point everyone else in the room started slipping as though the floor was made of ice. Nobody knew what caused it, assuming it was some kind of prank somehow. Throughout the next week, Charly found things she picked up kept sticking to her and she had to concentrate to let go. She managed to get it under control but only after facing the uncomfortable truth that it was she who was responsible for it all, that she was some kind of freak.
Still, she was a hidden, secret freak. Once she controlled it, she only used it sparingly, when she was alone. She later went on to college in New York, as a Dance Major.
What happened next is still somewhat unclear. She was located by the mutant known as Caliban, who was working for the Mutant Liberation Front, and they recruited her. She is a reluctant member of the group, very uncomfortable with the violence used and the crimes they commit. Still, there have been some indications that they have some sort of leverage on her that forces her to stay with them and participate. For the most part, they use her as one of their recruiters, to talk located mutants into joining them peacefully, though she assisted in their first attempt to rescue the mutant Rogue by ambushing police. She was shot in the attempt, but survived due to her armored clothing. For example, she has tried to recruit Piotr, who helped her when she was shot, but was glad when he did not accept.
Growing increasingly disturbed by the number and increasing violence of MLF activies, she made contact with members of the X-men, and offered to help. She also at one point phoned Grant Sutton, a police investigator, to offer information, but was too scared to fully come into witness protection.
After a few more operations, she was discovered by Fabian as a leak, and he attempted to kill her. She was rescued by two X-men, but remained in a coma for almost a month. When she awoke in the Mansion's medical lab, she immediately called Grant again to try and give more information, though she knew she was now going to jail.
Once the main members of the MLF were arrested, and Charlotte had recovered enough, she entered the Witness Protection Program, prepared to testify not only in exchange for a lighter sentence, but to somehow make amends for the things she was involved in. Her current location is unknown, as she likely remains a target.

Strength level: Charlotte possesses the normal human strength
of a girl her age, height, and build, who engages in regular exercise
(mainly dance and aerobics).
Known superhuman powers: Charlotte possesses the superhuman
power to mentally control the level of attractions objects have for
each other at a microscopic level, making them stick to one another or
nearly frictionless. It is not clear whether she affects the actual
molecules or simply coats them with an energy field with variable
frictional properties. She can project her ability a maximum of about
250 feet from her and can afffect an area no greater than 100 square feet.
She must be able to visualize an object in order to affect it, and must
also concentrate to maintain an effect.
Other abilities: Charlotte can play piano and is naturally
extremely limber, well co-ordinated and graceful, and knows how to
dance. Due to recent injuries, she may never dance again.
Weapons and paraphernalia: Charlotte had once been provided
(by the MLF) with some sort of body armor which fits under normal
clothes and makes her resistant to bullets.

really interested, as she's off-stage. But it'd be tricky.
