History:
Deacon Frost was born in Dusseldorf, Germany 1933. Frost was born to aged parents who died before the boy's 13th year leaving him to be raised by a succession of servants and other relatives. Having lost his parents to nothing but 'old age', Frost early on became obsessed with the aging, death and immortality. This being his driving impetus of his life, shaping his personal philosophy, educational pursuits and idle past times. As his knowledge of various scientific disciplines grew, Frost became convinced that there was a way to stave off the affects of aging and decay in the human body. As it was merely a physical manifestation of a chemical process, he believed that not only could it be halted, but reversed.
Throwing himself into his studies, Frost was accepted into the University of Wurttemberg at the age of 20 where he majored in chemistry and biology. While a student there, Frost came across the esoteric writings of famed scientist Friedrich Wilhelm von Junzt, author of Unaussprechlichen Kulten. Through von Junzt's writings and reference to other occult works such as the Necronomicon, Frost learned of the "Formula of Nnh", an arcane 'ritual' whereby mortal life supposed could be preserved for all time and eternity'. However, despite description of the principles and concepts behind this formula, the exact breakdown and components were never mentioned.
So close to his goal, Frost began a diligent study of arcane texts and alchemy recipes across the globe. Finally, after 30 years of study and searching, Frost was finally able to come up with what he believed was a true and faithful approximation of the recipe, his own 'Sanguinis vitas'
After so many years of studying profane and blasphemous texts, Frost has lost most if not all his sanity. Once he had collected all the various reagents for his elixir, he kidnapped a young woman as a test subject. After days of preparation and lab work, he was ready to test his findings. Just as he was able to inject the young woman with his serum, the woman's finance broke into the lab. A struggle ensued between the man and Frost during which, Frost was impaled with his own syringe, becoming his own unwilling guinea pig.
The mixture proved toxic and Frost died from supposed poisoning. But that was not to be the end. Three nights later, Frost rose from the dead. No longer an insane chemist, he was now a powerful vampire. Now immortal, Frost continued his study of magick lore. If he were not going to live for ever, then he would need to be omnipotent as well. Now as a night stalker, Frost raided halls of learning, tomes of knowledge, and hidden stashes of mystic lore all in a mad quest for ultimate power.
Many years later, Frost (for reasons unknown) attacked a woman in labor who, as a result, gave birth to a child who grew up to become the vampire hunter Blade. Years after that, he attacked and killed Hannibal King when the latter stumbled across the vampire's trail while investigating a missing persons case.
Frost moved on from the US back to Europe, then to Africa and onward towards the Far East, where he continued to expand his knowledge and skill. And now, decades later, he has returned to American soil.
