History:

Having crash landed in the South American jungle, Amy Crestmere, now known as Amara, was raised as the daughter of the First Senator of Nova Roma, a secret city of Ancient Romans. From childhood she has been trained to venture out into the world at large to discover how it has the changed in the last 200 years. Just recently Amara has discovered that she has fearsome powers, and her father, scared that she might destroy the ancient city, sent Amara through the Gate earlier than he previously intended.

Unusual physical characteristics: Amara is extremely physically attractive.
Strength level: Amara has engaged in intensive regular activity since childhood, and therefore possesses strength and stamina at the peak of the normal human range for a woman of her age, height and build.
Known superhuman powers: Amara can cover her body with Magma and fire blasts of Lava at opponents. When angry or upset she produces small earthquakes and volcanoes. She also heals remarkably quickly, even from mortal wounds. Her powers depend upon her continued connection with the earth, either directly or through a building connected to the earth.
Other abilities: Amara is a highly skilled warrior, and hunter, she is able to survive for extended periods of time in the jungle and mountains and provide others with food and water. Amara possesses Genius level IQ on a par with Kitty Pryde, and is also extremely strong willed. Amara is fluent in several languages, Latin, English, Spanish and Portuguese.
Weapons and paraphernalia: Amara possesses a Roman short sword known as a gladius. She is also in possession of golden coins of Nova Roman origin, as well as antique coins from England, Spain and Portugal.
Other notes: Amara does not have Christian sensibilities, she has not even been raised in a society where Christian values are known. She is Roman through and through, she has no compunctions about using deadly force when she deems it necessary. Amara is currently available for apping and is generally ICly assumed to be performing secret construction operations for Magneto.
