History:
Adam Warlock is a unique alien hybrid replicant (enhanced clone) created in the laboratories of the Enclave, a secret research team sponsored by the US government. The Enclave scientists merged DNA of unknown origin with improved human DNA, experimenting with the creation of super-human soldiers. Warlock was just an experiment and was never intended to survive, or even awake.
But he woke up, demonstrating powers and abilities beyond his creator's wildest dreams, and escaped, destroying much of the secret investigation center. For a year and some months he explored the world and learned at an accelerated pace what most humans take two decades to learn. He settled in New York in the fall of 2000, shortly after mutants were revealed to the world.
Adam found friends and enemies in New York. And after being severely injured by the mutant Emplate, he faced public persecution instigated by the very same people that financed the Enclave. For a time he was the most wanted criminal in the OMA list, and it took much underhanded maneuvering to clean his name. Even now there are people that still believe he is a psychotic killer.

Unusual physical characteristics: Unusual skin coloration. Inhuman
internal organ distribution, easy to detect even with a cursory
medical scan.
Strength level: Adam possesses superhuman strength and is able to
lift (press) about 1,000 lbs. He can temporary increase his strength
by a factor of 20.
Known superhuman powers: Adam Warlock possesses several superhuman
powers. He has a degree of superhuman strength and reflexes, and can
manifest a forcefield that vastly increases his strength and
resistance to injury, as well as allowing him to fly at great speeds
and survive in space. He has enhanced eyesight and several
extra-sensorial perceptions. His alien biology allows him to survive
on ambient energy indefinitely. Finally, he can regenerate from most
injuries creating a cocoon around his body.
Other abilities: Adam is a natural fighter and possesses an intuitive
knowledge of the universe. He learns very quickly is fluent in many
human languages.
Weapons and paraphernalia: Nothing unusual. Uses body armor in rare
occasions.
