When Doug seems to regain control of himself temporarily, the resurrected Hellions come to claim him. Meanwhile, the rest of the New Mutants have to not just survive, but attempt to get help for Amara.
I don't really have a lot to say. As a fan of the old school New Mutants, it was pretty cool to see the Hellions again, but there's something flat and missing... I think it's because I liked the interactions between the teams, and when, as here they're effectively mind-controlled, it doesn't really feel the same. It's almost as though they're fighting robots shaped like their old foes. It might have been nice to see some personality. There's also a minor continuity blip in that one of the Hellions revived isn't dead. Or, she was dead but came back to life on her own (several times). I suppose since, if I recall correctly, they never said how she came back to life, one might speculate that her original body didn't come back when she did and so was still available for resurrection.
It's not as good as the last part. Still, it's a decent enough issue for what it is.
