Wisdom goes on a tear to try to find out why MI-6 kidnapped Maureen, and where she is.
I still find myself a little lost with some of the behind the scenes operations with the different British intelligence agencies, as I never read any of the stories that involved them, but that aside, the story was pretty fun. I also suspect I might get a little more out of it (and the series as a whole) if I was more familiar with some of the ins and outs of British myth and history, but there's still plenty I got. A nice expansion on Ransom's powers lead to a number of cool visuals, and the conclusion has me interested in the final part.
I doubt there'll be much chance of this being made an ongoing, so it's a bit of a shame that the supporting cast never really got the development I would like. In an ongoing, it's okay to take it slow, but I suspect the next issue will be the last I'm seeing of them, and if that's the case they feel a little short.
